What is MCP?
The Model Context Protocol is an open standard for connecting AI applications to outside tools and data. Claude and ChatGPT both use it, and so do a growing number of agent frameworks. If your product can act as an MCP client, it can call Link.
Does Link work outside Claude and ChatGPT?
That is what this program is for. Link is a standard MCP server with sign in, so a client that supports both can connect. We test each partner's client with them before launch.
How is usage counted?
The same way as everywhere else Link runs. Lookups are free. Building submittal documents draws on the user's Link allowance, and nothing runs past its cap. For partner volume, we agree terms with you directly.
Do you see our users' project data?
No. Link receives the manufacturer and product your integration names, and returns documents from the library. Nothing about the project around that request is stored.
Who do we talk to?
